This course is designed to sharpen up and hone your basketmaking skills and is suitable for everyone, from beginners to professional makers.

The course revolves around square, oval & round work & other basketry skills focused to improve your basketmaking. We can also work on baskets of your choosing and techniques bespoke to your needs.

You create at least 2 baskets during the week which incorporate key techniques you need in your basket making tool box. Techniques covered – scalloming, corner posts, partitions, bases, fastenings, hinges, lids, handles, made to measure work, hoops, waling variations, fitching, square corner borders.
