3 Day Square Work Masterclass - 29th Sept / 30th Sept / 1st Oct 2026
 
The course will revolve around square basketry techniques & styles. All skills which will improve your overall basketmaking. 
 
On this masterclass you'll choose to create at least 1 or 2 baskets during the 3 day workshop which incorporate key square work techniques you need in your basket making tool box.
This may take the form of a chest hamper in the continental style, a blunt cornered garden basket with multiple partitions or concertrating on a specific technique.
 
Techniques that can be covered – scalloming, corner posts, blunt corners, continental stake up, chest hamper lids, blunt corner chest lids, various partition styles, bases, fastenings, hinges, lids, handles, made to measure work, hoops, waling variations, fitching, square corner borders, blunt corner borders.
